I usually go thrifting on Friday's (pay day) and Sunday's (they offer 99 cent colored tag sale). I always go in with a specific item in mind some days it may be tee's other days I might be looking for just great blouses. Shopping depends on my mood and patience.
Over the summer I scored this great floral blouse, I loved the colors of the flowers mainly. So I snagged this bad boy for the fall. I can honestly say it takes me awhile to wear certain items and usually I shop pre-season.
On other notes I paired this blouse with some closet jeans (Abercrombie) and black suede flats I grabbed at a near by T.J. Maxx (one of my favorite discount stores) . I also if you can tell by the picture I used a safety pin to pin the shirt in the mid section together, give it a different look (of course I could've just tucked it in or just worn it regular), but I felt it gave the top a peplum feel. Which we all know was a must-have for fall. Might I add it still is a must-have.
I'm also new to this blogging venture, and I haven't posted many posts, so I'll catch you all up to speed on some of my fashion lingo.
Here's a few to start :
•Closet jeans - jeans I rarely wear or my throw ons (but mainly because I'm not a big fan of wearing jeans).
•TDF - to die for (not in literal of course, but literally certain pieces can be deadly)
•Style note - it more than likely means I just learned this tip or I'm tipping you.
•Wish list - very common term, but normally I just wish someone else would buy it for me.
